Qualifications & experience
- NDIS Screening Clearance
- Valid Working with Children Check (Employee)
- Car Insurance (comprehensively insured)
- Valid Drivers Licence
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- Current CPR and First Aid Certificate
- Proof of Covid Vaccination
- Certificate III in Individual Support
- Valid Police Check
- NDIS Supporting Effective Communication Module
Tasks & responsibilities
- Facilitating access to local community activities
- Supporting and assisting with health care needs
- Providing physical support which may include helping with household tasks and personal care
- Providing emotional support to the participant and their family
- Communicating with their health care workers when required
- Medication assistance
- Progress note writing
- Effective communicator with client
